Being introduced to the River Findhorn in Moray, Scotland was a revelation. The beauty of the inky black, crystal clear water, the wildness and stillness of the water, the serenity and majesty of the Scots pine and fir trees and easy to get away from others. The screenprint that evolved from this painting tries to capture some of those qualities.
