Description
This print came about through revisiting a growing obsession with wind turbines based on a trip to Northumberland last year but approaching the printmaking from a more graphic/abstracted perspective inspired by my collaboration with Maria Lagerborg, a Swedish printmaker and animator and a member of ‘Grafiska Sällskapet’(GS), The Swedish Printmakers´ Association.
My printmaking is done at GPC (Gloucestershire Printmaking Cooperative) in Stroud, Gloucestershire and the GPC and GS had a wonderfully productive collaboration that provoked new work from 39 printmakers and culminated in a wonderful show in Stockholm in May 2023 and joyously stuck two firm fingers up to all those brexiteers.
